The Research and Development team is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. They develop Vitaly, a healthcare collaboration platform built on open standards and secure cloud infrastructure, enabling seamless connectivity across healthcare systems and improving outcomes for both professionals and patients—all driven by a clear mission: everyone deserves a better healthcare experience.

As a Junior Developer, you will contribute to building and improving web applications that integrate with healthcare systems—directly impacting how care is delivered and experienced. You will join our R&D team and actively participate in an agile Scrum environment.

What you’ll do

You will support the development and continuous improvement of our solutions while learning software development practices in a real-world environment. Together with your team and mentor, you will:

• Support development and improvement of our solutions
• Participate in unit and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, quality control specialist and system administrators
• Learn and apply development best practices

What we’re looking for

• Final year student in computer science or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Java, knowledge of Jakarta EE is a plus
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web applications, knowledge of Angular is a plus
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL)
• Basic knowledge of Git
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Analytical mindset and problem solving skills
• Fluent in English
